Properties and Stability

Usage: Used for manufacturing perchloric acid or other perchlorate salts.

If used and stored in accordance with specifications, it will not decompose. Avoid contact with reducing agents, organic materials, metal powders, moisture/humidity. Soluble in water, at 15°C, 100 cm³ of water can dissolve 209g, at 50°C, 100 cm³ of water can dissolve 284g. Soluble in ethanol, density 2.02 g/cm³. When dried with concentrated sulfuric acid or heated to 50°C, it loses crystalline water.
