Product Description

Humans and other mammals cannot synthesize lutein by themselves, and foreign food is the only source of lutein intake. The content of zeaxanthin and lutein in egg yolk is the highest, accounting for 85% of the total carotene. The content of lutein in maize is also very high, accounting for 60% of the total carotene in maize.

Lutein has a wide range of food sources. It often exists together with zeaxanthin in nature. It is the main component of plant pigments such as corn, vegetables, fruits and flowers. Lutein is abundant in orange fruits and vegetables such as papaya, pumpkin, citrus, medlar and peach, but the most abundant ingredients are green leafed vegetables, such as kale, spinach, leek, Chinese cabbage, celery leaves, coriander, etc
