Introduction to Ceramic Fiber Blanket
Sep 25, 2024
Ceramic fiber cotton is produced by melting high-purity clay clinker, alumina powder, silica powder, chromite sand and other raw materials at high temperatures in an industrial electric furnace to form a fluid. Then, compressed air is sprayed or spun into fibers using a spinning machine, which are collected by a cotton collector to form the final product.
Fiber cotton can be further processed into products such as fiber blankets, boards, paper, cloth, ropes, etc. Ceramic fiber is an efficient insulation material with characteristics such as light weight, high strength, oxidation resistance, low thermal conductivity, good flexibility, corrosion resistance, small heat capacity, and sound insulation. It is white in color, precise in size, easy to cut and install, easy to construct, time-saving, and does not contain any binders. It can be used for a long time in a neutral and oxidizing atmosphere. Low heat capacity, low thermal conductivity, high fire resistance and thermal sensitivity, excellent wind erosion resistance and mechanical impact resistance, excellent sound absorption and fire resistance, automated production, stable density and performance.
Typical applications:
1. Industrial kilns, boiler linings, and backings are insulated, fire-resistant, and insulated
2. Thermal insulation of steam engines, gas engines and other thermal equipment
3. Flexible insulation materials for high-temperature pipelines; High temperature gasket; High temperature filtration
4. Thermal insulation of the thermal reactor
5. Fire prevention of various industrial equipment, insulation and fire prevention of electrical components
6. Thermal insulation materials for incineration equipment
7. Raw materials for modules, folding blocks, and veneer blocks
8. Thermal insulation of investment castings
