About Alumina Insulating Refractory Bricks

Sep 14, 2024

Alumina insulating refractory bricks (IFB) refer to insulating refractory products made of fused corundum and sintered alumina as the main raw materials. It has the characteristics of strong resistance to acid and alkali atmosphere, strong resistance to reduction, and good thermal shock resistance. It can be used for a long time below 1700℃. In the early 1960s, Beijing Refractory Material Factory in China produced Al2O3 products with a content of 90%~92% by foam method. Since the 1980s, Fushun Refractory Material Factory and Shandong Second Refractory Material Factory have produced products with an Al2O3 content greater than 90% by burning out additives.
